In post nuclear fallout, Earth is a harsh and dangerous place almost devoid of all life bar mankind (though the effects of radiation sickness are alluded so mankind didn't exactly survive unscathed). Mars has been populated (to what extent, we're not sure) and humanoid androids are near indistinguishable from their flesh and blood counterparts.

Narrated by Scott Brick, Blade Runner tells the tale of a bounty hunter and his task of tracking down and retiring a band of androids. It's a quick read that isn't big on traditional science fiction elements such as futuristic cityscapes and gadgets but is big on entertainment and character. John Isidor and Rachel Rosen were notable characters.

I loved this book and Scott Brick was an excellent narrator.

My rating: 4.5/5, with all the hype surrounding the new Blade Runner, I highly recommend checking out this book.
